Walther PPKS 22 Caliber
Walther PPKS 22 Caliber The German Carl Walther PPK/s in .22 Long Rifle is a beautifully designed pistol. The 1968 Gun Control Act prevented the importation of the PPK. Walther trying to maintain the volume of sales of the PPK in the United States combined the frame of the PP that is deeper and the slide of the PPK. This combination met the requirements of the GCA and gave birth to the PPK/s. The .22 LR has a 10 round magazine and is very compact. Choice of ammunition is important because this pistol can be a bit finicky. The rim-fire PPK/s should not be confused with the TPH that is a scaled down version of the Walther PP. The .22 rim-fire pistols do not have the chamber indicators like the centerfire models. The German Walther PPK/s handguns are made with the blued finish and do not come in stainless. This pistol is sleek, has a great grip and is a lot of fun to shoot.
